New York School of Interior Design is celebrating its 100th anniversary in 2016. We are planning a number of special events throughout the year to commemorate this milestone. One of the first events is an Alumni Exhibition, which will be on view in the NYSID Gallery from March 3 – April 29, 2016.
The overarching theme of the exhibition is “How the interior design industry has evolved and how it has stayed the same.” This could be demonstrated by, but not limited to, examples of advances in rendering techniques, re-thinking the way spaces are used and designed, or the importance of hand drafting. You will have an opportunity to articulate how the industry has evolved (or not) in the text accompanying the work in the exhibition.
All NYSID alumni, whether currently practicing or not, are invited to submit their work for this juried exhibition and accompanying website.DEADLINE EXTENSION: All work must be submitted by TUESDAY, DECEMBER 1..
